Brokermint pricing: what BoldTrail BackOffice costs

Brokermint, now BoldTrail BackOffice, publishes no subscription price: the old pricing page is gone and the three packages carry no dollar figure. The quote is built per user on a fixed term that renews, and the one published number is the SetWave add-on at $10 to $15 per transaction.

What does BoldTrail BackOffice publish for price?

Brokermint is sold as BoldTrail BackOffice now, and brokermint.com opens with the line Meet BoldTrail BackOffice: The Next Generation of Brokermint. The old pricing address returns a page not found. The product page on boldtrail.com offers flexible packages configured your way, a quiz to pick one, and a sales number to call.

The comparison page sets out three packages. BoldTrail BackOffice carries seven capabilities: transaction management, commission automation, eSignature and templates, reporting and analytics, team management, QuickBooks integration and forms. Pro adds agent management and onboarding, white label, CRM contact sync and multiple office locations. The Bundle adds seven more, from market insights and recruiting search to a net income estimator. No package has a price beside it, and no page on boldtrail.com carries a dollar figure for BackOffice.

brokermint.com/pricing now returns a page not found. The page that listed Brokermint's plans is gone, and nothing on the live site puts a number in its place.

What are you paying per?

Users. The Inside Real Estate terms that the Brokermint site links to say You may not permit more Users than the maximum number of unique Users purchased for, and the help page on deactivating users adds that your billing will not be affected by inactive users, so the count that sets the price is the number of people who can log in. That is the basis Brokermint used in 2019 too, when its plans page defined a seat as any person logging in with their own credentials and let you raise or lower the seat count at any time.

Three other lines sit around the per-user fee. An implementation fee is due and billed on the signing date of the Agreement. Subscription fees are billed monthly across a subscription term whose length is written on the order form, and the agreement renews for twelve-month periods unless you cancel in writing at least thirty days before the current term ends. At each renewal the fee can rise by up to five percent on thirty days' notice. Fees are non-cancelable and non-refundable, leaving early without cause means paying the rest of the term, and card payments can carry a surcharge of up to 2.75 percent where ACH carries none.

What sits outside the subscription?

SetWave's Compliance AI is the one add-on with a number on it. It is a paid add-on bought through SetWave, who set up the brokerage's account on a short call, and the help page says it is a tiered subscription at usually $10 to $15 per transaction. It checks submitted documents for names, dates, addresses, signatures and required fields, and the agent gets a list of errors, usually within 10 minutes. SetWave's own site publishes no price.

The help page's answer to How much does it cost? is the only price on the Brokermint side, and a partner sets it.

Integrations are the second line. QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and SkySlope connections through API Nation are covered for BackOffice customers, and an integration outside the covered list is billed to you by API Nation, whose entry plans start around $19 per month for 1,000 records. ACH payouts run through Payload, which charges a fee on each transaction. BackOffice does not generate 1099s itself, and filing them through QuickBooks or another provider typically costs $3 to $5 a return. An MLS feed is an add-on the vendor's team sets up, and the terms make you responsible for any third-party service fees, whether the provider bills you or Inside Real Estate invoices them.

What can you add up before the quote arrives?

Not the subscription. For a brokerage closing twenty sides a month, the one vendor-side line that totals today is SetWave at $200 to $300 a month if every file goes through it, which is $2,400 to $3,600 a year. The small print used to be public: in 2019 and again in 2022 the plans page said every plan carried a one-time non-refundable setup fee, that each extra MLS or QuickBooks connection cost $49 a month, and that MLS and RETS integration could carry additional fees. By May 2024 the page had dropped even those and showed Book a Demo under both Standard and Professional. Nothing public since then puts a number on the subscription itself.

The coordination side is a number you can write down now. DeedSpring runs the same twenty closings for $380 a month on Standard, at $19 a closing with unlimited agents and teammates, and ten closings for $200. That covers the file between contract and closing and the commission statement on each one.

What should the quote say in writing?

Before you sign, get three things in writing: the active-user count the price is built on and what one more user costs, the implementation fee and what it covers, and the initial subscription term with its renewal notice date. The Accounting module, which an implementation specialist enables for your account, and any SetWave or extra MLS lines can sit inside that number or beside it, so the order form should name them. The terms put the order form above the standard terms wherever the two conflict, so what is written there is what you will pay.

Where does DeedSpring fit?

DeedSpring runs the file between contract and closing and tracks the commission on each one. Upload the executed contract and it reads the price, deposits and dates into deadlines on the file. A playbook sets the tasks. It checks every open closing every hour, flags what is slipping, and drafts the chases and client updates for a person to send, with anything about money or contract terms always waiting for approval. Each closing gets a commission statement from the agent's plan, from gross to agent net, that a broker approves and files as a CDA on the closing. Broker/admin, team lead, TC, agent and assistant are set per person, and the brokerage Overview shows production by team.

You pay per closing, with no per-user line. Starter is $15 a month for one closing a month. Standard is $25 a closing, $22 from five a month, $20 from ten and $19 from twenty, with unlimited agents and teammates and unused closings rolling over. Both are month to month, and brokerages above 30 closings a month get a price on application at deedspring.com/pricing.

TransactionDesk and Transact pricing: member benefits, licenses and add-ons

TransactionDesk reaches most agents as an MLS or association member benefit, and Lone Wolf publishes no price for the product itself. The only US figure on its store is Authentisign at $129 a year after a free 30-day trial. Broker Edition, TransactionDesk or Transact, is quoted on a Sales Order that renews itself.
